Formentera del Segura has a population of only 1000 and is as traditionally Spanish as Paella! This duplex property is literally around the corner from the village square (with it's quaint church) and town hall. Around this square you'll find small pubs and tapas bars
The people of Formentera are very friendly and are happy to return pleasantries. Their culture encompasses all of family life, with children being welcomed into the late-night social scene! As well as the wonderful weather, you're ideally placed for beautiful beaches, great golf courses and the laid-back culture.
Whether it's the charming tapas bars of the village, the idyllic rural landscapes or the beautiful white-sand beaches that you're after - you're bound to have your own taste suited.
The village of Formentera del Segura has lots of history and has a very friendly population. Bars and Tapas Bars are a plenty and include the French-owned "Patrick's Bar Restaurant" only around the corner. Most speak both Spanish & English.
This property has a large rooftop solarium with table & chairs, sun loungers, barbeque and handy outdoor shower. Just inside the door is a very tasteful bar area with beer fridge/wine-chiller & optics etc. Unlike many other duplex apartments, access to the solarium is via an easy-going INTERNAL staircase, not an external rickety spiral affair. Ideal for kids, mature holiday-makers or those with vari-focals!
The spacious lounge/dining area has hot & cold air-con, English TV with Play station, DVD, a stereo, dining suite for 6. There is also a roomy dining area on the front terrace. For your comfort ceiling fans are in all rooms.
There are 2 bedrooms (1 double with fitted robes, 1 twin). The 5th and 6th bed spaces are on a sofa-bed, so are suitable for children only (small supplement)
There is a quality fitted kitchen - with oven, hob, fridge/freezer, toaster, microwave, sandwich-toaster, electric juicer, washing machine (upstairs), iron and ironing board.
The utterly charming breakfast terrace faces west to give awesome views of countryside and fantastic sunsets. The communal pool is shared only with a small number of other properties.
Within a 30 min drive there are numerous quality golf courses, including the world-renowned La Finca 18-holes. A 15 min drive will take you to Guardamar beach, easily the most gorgeous on the Costa. It is within walking distance from two neighbouring villages - Benijofar & Rojales.
